Remyhs worked at a prominent London Legal 500 and Chambers firm, Hodge Jones & Allen LLP initially working in the personal injury and civil liberties departments then in the family department as a paralegal. Remyhs qualified as a solicitor specialising in family in 2017.

Remyhs joined Pinney Talfourd in 2019, joining the Brentwood team. She was promoted to Associate Solicitor in 2022.

She acts for clients with tenacity and passion, while remaining sympathetic and understanding. When it comes to children matters Remyhs remains sensitive and child-focused in her approach. She has experience representing wider family members, including grandparents and aunts and uncles. Remyhs has a particular interest in complex cases involving parental alienation, domestic abuse, and serious safeguarding concerns. She has often had to act in cases involving emergency applications for relocation or refusal to hand over children.

Remyhs works with LGBTQ+, solo, separated and blended families. When it comes to family creation, including adoption, fertility and surrogacy, Remyhs is truly passionate about the work she does.

Remyhs is an experienced divorce lawyer with experience in complicated divorce proceedings including foreign marriages. Remyhs has experience in medium to high value asset cases where there is difficulty in meeting every parties’ needs. Remyhs works cases in a calm, patient and clear manner setting clients at ease and coming up with clear strategies to resolve matters. Remyhs provides commercially focused, practical advice. Working in a constructive manner, she strives to resolve matters amicable and cost-efficiently.

Remyhs is an active member of the firm, sitting on the Charity committee and the staff committee People of Pinneys Society (POPS).

Memberships

Remyhs is an active member of Resolution and is co-chair of the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion National Committee. Work done on the committee is for not only the benefit of members but clients, working to ensure the family courts are accessible to all. Remyhs has been invited to speak on PODCASTS and at events.

Education

Remyhs Baker studied law at the University of Kent graduating in 2008. After graduating Remyhs worked as the accounts executive for a London Based office solutions company, completing her LPC at BBP London in 2012.
