Position
Emma Jeffries is an associate solicitor and costs lawyer within the niche costs team in Weightmans which is a specialist team dealing with high value, complex costs litigation. Emma has a vast experience of dealing with both claimant and defendant costs issues to include costs arising from catastrophic injury claims; clinical negligence, professional negligence (construction) and commercial litigation. As well as providing advice and assistance at the conclusion of claims, Emma engages with clients from the outset to ensure that appropriate costs estimates and reserves are set as well as dealing with costs management during the litigation as and when required.
A regular provider of client training, Emma provides bespoke training sessions for Insurer Clients as to issues of costs and costs management and is a member of the Association of Costs Lawyers working party dealing with the responses of the Industry to fixed costs reforms proposed by the government.
