In 2008, Mervyn graduated from the National University of Singapore, Law School, and has since devoted much of his legal career in disputes resolution, dealing with a variety of areas including commercial law, company law, insolvency law, criminal law, white-collar crime, employment law and intellectual property law.

Mervyn is also an adjunct instructor with the National University of Singapore, Law School, teaching in the school’s Legal Skills Programme.
