Career

Mustafa’s practice covers the full spectrum of litigation and alternate dispute resolution. He was enrolled as an Advocate in 1994 and as a Solicitor in 1996. He is admitted as a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. A substantial part of Mustafa’s practice involves insolvency and bankruptcy law, commercial disputes, real estate laws, intellectual property rights, media and entertainment laws, succession law, marine and a special focus on financial disputes and white collar crimes. He has strategized complex contentious proceedings and is actively involved in domestic and international arbitrations. During his career spanning around twenty six years, he has advised multi-national companies and Indian companies on several contentious issues related to IPR, real estate, insolvency and many commercial disputes, testamentary disputes and FIDIC arbitration among many others. He has been actively involved in enforcement of foreign judgments and foreign awards. He regularly contributes articles on topical subjects, writes for various legal publications and speaks at conferences and events on varied aspects of law.
