Career

Natalie is an Associate in our Restructuring and Insolvency Practice having joined the firm as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2015 and was admitted as a solicitor in 2017.

Natalie’s practice in the Restructuring and Insolvency team includes acting in all aspects of company winding-up proceedings, such as appointment of liquidators, claims against directors and related parties; matters in personal bankruptcies, with experience acting for trustees and bankrupts as well as other interested parties. Natalie regularly works with professional accounting firms and corporate clients in various aspects of winding up and bankruptcy proceedings and advise clients in a wide range of court applications in this regard.

Natalie also has experience in general litigation, such as shareholders disputes; fraud and asset tracing; and general commercial litigation. In particular, Natalie regularly appears in Court in applications for freezing injunctions and disclosure orders to assist client in the tracing and recovery of stolen assets in fraud cases. More recently, Natalie has been advising a number of clients in debt recovery and asset tracing matters involving cryptocurrency and claims against cryptocurrency exchanges.

Education

Natalie completed a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Government and Laws) and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Hong Kong. She received her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) from the University of Hong Kong in 2015. Natalie is fluent in both English and Cantonese.
