Career

Francis is the Regional Head of Dispute Resolution and was appointed Senior Counsel in January 2009. He practices in the principal areas of international and treaty arbitration and cross-border commercial litigation. He focuses on corporate, commercial and investment disputes, and specialises in aviation law. He is a Chartered Arbitrator and is on the arbitrator panels of several leading arbitral institutions. He is Vice President of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (assuming the Presidency in 2019), and the immediate past Chairman of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Singapore. He is General Editor, Civil Litigation in Singapore (2016, Sweet & Maxwell).
