Grant is a family lawyer with a wide range of experience dealing with all aspects of family law including divorce and dissolution; private law children matters (to include complex children proceedings and removal from jurisdiction cases); financial cases (to include advising medium to high network clients, cases with trust and taxation elements, business and farming interests, pensions and foreign assets); pre-nuptial and pre-civil partnership agreements; separation agreements; co-habitation agreements and disputes & change of name deeds. Grant is an accredited specialist in the fields of private children law and higher net worth and substantial financial provision. Grant qualified as a collaborative lawyer in 2007 and an all issues family mediator in 2010. He actively promotes alternative forms of dispute resolution but is a capable advocate with wide experience in conducting children and financial remedy proceedings. Examples of how Grant has helped clients include successfully securing a change as to a child’s living arrangements in a long running Children Act case; in handling a complex collaborative law matter with significant capital and pension assets and consideration of the value of the husband’s shares in a business.
