Career
Abhilekh Verma is a Senior Partner in the Firm’s Bangalore office. He is a seasoned corporate and business lawyer with more than two decades of integrated in-house and law firm experience.
Abhilekh is a key member of the Firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity practice groups and has advised numerous multinational and domestic business entities across industry segments at various stages of project conception and execution. Clients have benefited from his extensive experience on cross-border and domestic M&A, joint ventures, private equity transactions, strategic tie-ups, entry strategies, foreign inward and outbound investment.
Abhilekh has advised various stakeholders operating in high growth sectors such including IT & ITeS, e-commerce as well as infrastructure projects like surface transport and aviation, on full spectrum of legal and regulatory issues ranging from investments, financing arrangements, transaction structures, risk assessment, allocation and mitigation.
Abhilekh’s prior experience includes working with two of India’s top -tier law firms and also as an in-house counsel with one of the largest Indian telecom operators in the private sector.
