Career

Mr. Soon Chul Kwon completed his training at the Judicial Research & Training Institute, Supreme Court of Korea in 2004 and then started his legal practice in the corporate team of Hwang Mok Park. While providing legal advice to Korean and foreign construction companies, IT companies and financial institutions, he has been involved in a number of M&A cases.

In 2006, Mr. Kwon successfully advised the closing of a work-out of a major Korean semiconductor company on behalf of the financial institutions that were holding the convertible shares in the company.

Thereafter, Mr. Kwon was a founding member of Sigong Law. He expanded his legal practice to various litigation cases derived from corporate counselling. Since 2010 he has been appointed by the Seoul Central District Court as a bankruptcy trustee, and has performed liquidation procedures for many bankrupt companies.
