Career
After working at Busan and Daegu District Prosecutors’ Offices, Mr. Sehoon Choi worked as a prosecutor at the Office of Legal Counsel in the Ministry of Justice, in charge of deliberation and assistance for principal legislation procedures of the government. After serving as a research prosecutor at the Supreme Public Prosecutor’s Office, he conducted investigations in special and environmental matters at Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office. He then took a number of important posts such as the Head of Special Division at Busan District Prosecutors’ Office, Head of Legal Profession Division at the Ministry of Justice, Chief of Hongseong Branch Prosecutors’ Office, Chief of Pohang Branch Prosecutors’ Office, and Deputy Chief of Goyang Branch Prosecutors’ Office. Mr. Choi is a winner of the Presidential Award for investigation on environmental matters, and the Prosecutor General’s Citation for investigation on intellectual property matters.
At Jipyong’s Litigation Group, he is providing legal advice on criminal matters, especially regarding special investigations, environment, intellectual property rights, and corporation transactions, etc.
