Anya qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and since then has specialised in commercial property work. She grew up in Chelmsford, and after studying at Oxford and in Germany, she spent the first part of her career in the City before moving back to Essex to work. She advises on all aspects of commercial property work, including:

• freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
• development sites
• secured lending and refinancing
• option agreements, overage agreements
• planning agreements
• promotion agreements
• leases
• all aspects of the landlord and tenant relationship.

BA Law with German Law, University of Oxford, 1994-1998; LPC, Nottingham Law School, 1998-1999

Leisure

Outside of work, Anya is a Governor of Felsted Primary School and the Chair of the governing board’s Finance and Premises Committee. Her three children keep her busy and she also enjoys Jazzercise, watching films and listening to audiobooks.
