Career
David is a Partner at Simpson Millar with extensive experience of handling medical negligence claims, in particular birth injury and Cerebral and Erb’s Palsy claims.
He often shares his expertise in the legal press, with articles published in the Chartered Legal Executive Journal and the Solicitors Journal. He has also commented on issues including sepsis on television and radio news bulletins.

David is a Senior Litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
He’s also a member of the Law Society and AvMA Clinical Negligence Accreditation Panels, an accredited mediator and a Legal Aid-approved supervisor.
Leisure
David is a big sports fan, in particular football, rugby and cricket, and also enjoys mountain walking.
In particular, he is a dedicated fundraiser for the Teenage Cancer Trust, and raised more than £6,000 for the charity by climbing the Tibet side of Mount Everest, which he considers one of his proudest achievements.
