Ezekiel is a Partner in our Environment and Planning team. He advises clients on all aspects of the Resource Management Act (RMA) and related legislation, helping them to obtain resource consents and designations, and to make submissions on changes to district and regional plans.

He also helps clients to comply with their environmental requirements under the RMA and other legislation, and assists them when they face potential prosecution for breaching their authorisations.

Ezekiel advises government and local government agencies carrying out large infrastructure projects, including options assessment (MCA) processes and obtaining RMA approvals. He has also acted for private companies seeking planning authorisations.

He works closely with project managers, planners, environment managers and technical experts. He has appeared at council hearings, Boards of Inquiry, the Environment Court and the High Court.

Ezekiel has a particular interest in three waters infrastructure (water supply, wastewater, and stormwater), and freshwater management (including water allocation for irrigation and the effects of land use activities on water quality).
