Bethany graduated from the University of Hull in 2020 with a First Class Law degree having been nominated by the Law School Board of Examiners for three prizes: The Departmental Prize (awarded for the candidate with the best degree of the year), the Jeremy Hyde Prize for the Legal Advice Centre, and the Oxford University Press Prize in Employment Law. She then went on to complete her LPC Masters at the University of Law in 2021, which she received a Distinction in.

Prior to joining the team at Roythornes, Bethany volunteered weekly as an Advisor for Citizens Advice. She has completed work experience in areas including Family Law, Landlord and Tenant Disputes and completion of a vacation scheme in an Insurance Specialist firm within their Fraud and Credit Hire team. Bethany has also marshalled a judge in an Employment Tribunal and completed a volunteer session with the Midlands Employment Rights Advice Line (MERAL).

Bethany completed her first seat in February 2023 in Commercial Litigation where she drafted court documents, was involved in a pre-action disclosure, attended client meetings and assisted at trial. Her second seat was within the Agricultural Property Team where she assisted in the purchasing and selling of Agricultural land.
