In January 2018, Norton Rose Fulbright's London-based partner Peter Scott succeeded Martin Coleman as the firm's global antitrust practice head, following the latter's move to the UK CMA to become a non-executive director. Jay Modrall heads up the Brussels team, which covers the full spread of competition work for clients in industries such as energy, life sciences and healthcare, transport, and technology and innovation. It has a first-rate reputation in multijurisdictional merger control matters, and is also highly regarded for antitrust litigation, conduct investigations and general advisory work. Michael Jürgen Werner has more than 30 years of competition experience. Christian Filippitsch, of counsel Max Seuster and senior associate Violetta Bourt are other notable individuals in the group.
