Position
James is an Associate in our Commercial Disputes team.
James specialises in advising sports teams on commercial and contractual claims and regulatory and disciplinary disputes. He is active in disputes across all sports but has particular expertise in football.
In addition to his sports practice, James assists clients with commercial and media disputes. He provides advice on reputation management and assists clients with responding to negative media coverage and crisis planning. He also advises content creators on errors and omissions, pre-broadcast and publication clearance, and the OFCOM Broadcast Codes.
James sits on the board of the Swansea City Supporters’ Trust, which owns a minority stake in Swansea City Football Club.
