Position

Peter is a specialist healthcare lawyer providing regulatory and strategic advice to independent care providers and their investors across the UK. He has particular expertise acting for providers who are in conflict with regulators and local authorities. He negotiates on behalf of care providers with CQC, Ofsted and other national regulatory bodies, as well as commissioners and safeguarding authorities. Peter’s knowledge of the sector has led to the development of a specialist niche advising equity funds and other investors in the sector in relation to regulatory and commercial risk.

Appointed solicitor to the Registered Nursing Home Association and the National Care Association.

She defended HC-One in a criminal prosecution by the CQC. Guy Morgan led the team advising Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust on a £150m mixed-use development for the construction of a new hospital, primary school and 500 residential units. Other clients include Lifeways Community Care, National Fostering Agency, Registered Nursing Home Association, National Care Association and Kent Autistic Trust.
