Career

He started his professional career in 1991 as a lawyer in Madrid at the firm Ernst & Young Abogados, and subsequently joined the Seville office to take charge of the creation of the legal department and, in 2004, he became head of that legal firm in Seville.
In 2007 he founded Altius, an integrated consultancy practice specialising in sectors as diverse as food production, renewable energy, property, catering, construction, infrastructure, etc…
In 2011, as a founding partner, he embarked upon the project to create the new firm MA Abogados, made up of a group of practices desirous of creating a firm specialised in legal consultancy for medium and large companies, of national scope and international vocation.
Alberto is the head of MA Abogados in Seville, is a member of the Board of Directors of the same and head of the area of Business Law.
He maintains a strong bond with the business community of Andalusia. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Business Confederation of Andalusia. Academic Development Fund of the San Telmo Business Institute. He participates actively in organising initiatives linked to training for business, internationalisation and the implantation of new technologies in the market.
His academic activity started almost simultaneously with his professional work, commencing as a collaborating lecturer of Hispalense University in 1998. Currently (ever since 2002), he is a lecturer in mercantile law on the Law Degree course in the Faculty of Law at Pablo de Olavide University, and has been participating since 1996 on the examination boards and tribunals of the principal postgraduate programmes in Andalusia (Cajasol Institute of Legal and Business Studies (IEJE) and Master’s in Law at the UPO).
However, more noteworthy are the academic initiatives aimed directly at the business world, organised with some of the institutions named above, in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice, the Andalusia Regional Government, the Colleges of Registrars and Notaries, etc.
