Founding partners Mauricia Courrégé and Simon Foreman remain the key practitioners and handle a caseload that has recently included representing engine manufacturer Safran Helicopter Engines in criminal proceedings following an engine stoppage which led to a fatal helicopter crash. Another key role included advising the director of civil aviation services in French Polynesia on a criminal investigation into a 2007 crash which resulted in 20 deaths. Courrégé-Foreman

White-collar crime and litigation boutique Courrégé-Foreman has a ‘very responsive’ six-lawyer team which shows ‘good understanding of clients' needs and expectations’. The firm has particular experience in cases relating to major industrial accidents and is notably defending Total, as the indirect owner, in the long-running court proceedings following the AZF chemical plant explosion in Toulouse in 2001. The firm is also highly active in the aviation sector, where ‘lawyers know their clients' businesses perfectly and know how to handle technical criminal cases’.
