Career

Dr Benjamin Pesch primarily advises national and international companies of various industries in patent and utility model law, he joined Kather Augenstein as an Associate in 2019.

Following to his studies at the University of Cologne and after achievement of the first state examination, Dr Benjamin Pesch wrote his dissertation in commercial criminal law dealing inter alia with the question of the protection of trade secrets in the context of a due diligence. In parallel, Dr Benjamin Pesch worked as a research assistant in an international corporate law firm in Cologne.

After finishing his dissertation project with summa cum laude, Dr Benjamin Pesch worked in two further international corporate law firms in Dusseldorf during his legal traineeship before he achieved the second state examination and was admitted to the bar in June 2016.

Before joining Kather Augenstein, Dr Benjamin Pesch has already worked as an attorney for patent law and utility model law in another international corporate law firm in Dusseldorf and advised companies of different industries with respect to the enforcement of their protective rights.
