David King

David joined Irwin Mitchell’s Neurotrauma team in 2013 and became an Associate in 2018. David has over 10 years of experience in PI and, for the last 7 years, has specialised in complex brain and spinal cord injuries, dealing with claims of maximum severity. In his relatively short career in this field, he has obtained damages well in excess of £50m and is highly regarded as having particular strength in complex liability cases. Equally adept in relation to quantum, David drafts his own Schedules of Loss in cases with values up to 8-figures, attracting descriptions such as ‘exceptional’ and ‘superb’ by Leading Counsel.
