Filip is an experienced lawyer in the field of corporate law (including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings), real estate and general commercial and contract law representing both local and international clients. Filip is one of Belgium’s leading lawyers in the hospitality sector, doing both domestic and international work for major hotel and catering groups.


Prior to being managing partner at Cresco, Filip was a partner at Ambos NBGO, and an associate at Linklaters and Allen & Overy.

Filip obtained his law degree at the Leuven University (KUL, 1998). Filip also participated in an exchange program at Northwestern University, Chicago (1997) and holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from Cambridge University, Trinity Hall (1999).
