Associate Solicitor specialising in Civil and Property Litigation

Career

Hannah is a civil and property litigation specialist who, along with her team, assist clients throughout the South West and beyond.

She qualified in North Devon in 2011 but spent several years developing her practice in London before returning to Devon and joining Wollens in 2018.

In January 2022 Hannah was promoted to Associate Solicitor in recognition of her specialist work and expertise.

Hannah provides advice and assistance to individuals, companies and other entities on a wide range of property and land-based issues, which include :-

  • Landlord and Tenant (Residential, Private Rented Premises, including advices on tenure issues, contracts, statutory compliance, HMO issues, possession, succession disrepair, ASB, deposit, unlawful eviction, guarantors)
  • Landlord and Tenant (Residential, Owner Occupier Premises, including advices to management companies, or managing agents, or individual leaseholders relating to repairs, service charges, consultation, first refusals, right to manage, renewals)
  • Landlord and Tenant (Commercial Premises including possession, dilapidations, renewals)
  • Land (including Boundaries, Rectification, Adverse Possession, Prescription, Easements, Covenants, Vesting Orders)
  • Property damage disputes
  • Local Authority Notices under the Environmental Protection Act 1990
  • Disputes relating to co-owned property or property held on trust (TOLATA disputes)
  • Proprietary Estoppel claims
  • Neighbour disputes (including Party Wall Act, harassment, trespass,)
  • Squatter issues
  • Licence and lodger issues
  • Trespass (to include TORTS interference with goods)
  • Bespoke advices pertaining to property and land management.

Hannah tries to secure early, time and cost-effective solutions for clients, using a range of alternative dispute resolution methods that puts clients’ objectives at the center of the advice she gives. However, when required, she assists and represents clients with bringing or defencing applications and claims via the Courts or the Tribunals.

Hannah has represented clients at all levels of civil litigation procedure from County Court trials, High Court appeals and second appeal in the Court of Appeal.
