Career

Catherine joined the Clinical Negligence Team at Wollens in January 2021 having worked at previous firms in London & Exeter practising Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury and Industrial Disease.

Catherine specialises in complex medium and high value claims, working for clients based both locally and nationwide. It is very important to her to develop a good and personable relationship with her clients regardless of where they live.

Catherine is passionate about achieving the best outcome for all of her clients and has a particular interest in delayed diagnosis and fatal injury claims, the latter often involving the need for an Inquest as well as a medical negligence claim. These claims and the Inquests are very difficult for the families involved, and she prides herself on not only achieving the best outcome for the claim but also supporting clients and their families through the distressing and often unfamiliar proceedings.

Leisure

Outside of work Catherine is a Trustee for Age UK Torbay. She is very proud of herTorbay roots and enjoys making the most of living by coast. You can usually find her at the beach all year round enjoying an early morning dip to help set her up for the day!
