Geoffrey is a Partner and clinical negligence litigator having specialized in this area for over 20 years. He has joined Hodge Jones & Allen from Simpson Millar LLP where he was National Head of Clinical Negligence (Jan 2020 to Aug 2022).

Since 2016, he has authored ‘A Practical Approach to Clinical Negligence (Law Brief Publishing Ltd); the 3^rd edition of which was published in September 2023. This book focuses on effective practical solutions to current clinical negligence litigation. “It is richly informed by Geoff’s professional insights and his enthusiasm for good practice. Geoffrey has had articles published in The Solicitors’ Journal, PI Focus, JPIL, PIBULJ and The Times as well as providing regular practical commentary on reported cases on LinkedIn.

Geoffrey is an experienced complex issue and catastrophic injury litigator with a particular focus on using alternate forms of ADR such as bulk settlement meetings and ENR with NHSR with whom he has built an excellent collaborative relationship. He is well-versed in all available funding options, including Legal Aid, CFA, ATE, BTE and funding using emerging technologies.
