Career

Prior to joining Agency TRIA ROBIT in 1993, Voldemars worked as an engineer in the Scientific-Technical center of the Latvian Academy of Sciences. Voldemars is a qualified Latvian Patent, Trademark and Design Attorney since 2001 and European Patent, Trademark and Design Attorney since 2005. He is the leading patent specialist within the company, having wide experience working with both domestic and international clients. Voldemars Osmans has many years actively worked in committees of INTA. He also represents Latvia as a Council member (2020-2023) in Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (EPI), being one of the persons in charge of global and specific policies, strategies, decisions and regulations.
