Career

Aysegul has joined ErsoyBilgehan in 2012 where she gained experience in the fields of company and commercial law, maritime law and corporate compliance matters. Aysegul’s past experience in FMCG retail and industrial production firms has focused her expertise in foreign direct investment in the form of joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and competition law. She has also coordinated and advised on investments in shipping and port operations and the renewable energy sector, a regulated industry. She assisted the firm’s clients with their real estate investment projects, corporate compliance projects under the Turkish Commercial Code and the Data Protection legislation, as well as representing them before courts and execution offices for commercial and employment disputes. She frequently advised clients on transport law, international trade and liabilities of carriers and/or ship owners.

Aysegul is currently based in London, United Kingdom and still with ErsoyBilgehan as an Of Counsel since 2019.
