Career

Koen is a partner and member of the Board of Directors of Tiberghien.

He heads the Tiberghien HR tax team. He focuses on the complete range of topics concerning HR tax, in particular for bankers, insurance companies and pension funds.

Koen has a special expertise in pensions and pension funds. This makes him the main tax advisor for the pension fund sector, in particular for BAPI (Belgian Association of Pension Institutions) and the Belgian Government.

Koen also has an extensive experience in advising specific groups of private persons, like ‘Nederbelgen’, sportsmen and artists.

He is a founding member of BePLA (Belgian Pension Lawyers Association) and a member of IPeBLA (International Pensions and Benefits Lawyers Association). He lectures at the KU Leuven on international aspects of pension taxation.
