Career

Christoph has worked as a trainee in US law firms and in London. From 1986 through 2011 he was a partner in the shipping department of Taylor Wessing. He was a founding member of Fleet Hamburg LLP and since 2013 internationally certified maritime mediator. Christoph has published numerous professional articles on maritime law and has regularly given lectures at national and international maritime law conferences. As of May 2019 Christoph is of Counsel of the firm.

Education

He studied law in Tuebingen, Munich and Hamburg. Qualifications: Christoph is admitted as Rechtsanwalt and international qualified commercial and maritime mediator.
He specialises in assisting clients from the maritime industry in their day-to-day business and conducting court proceedings as well as maritime arbitration; he also accepts appointments as arbitrator and mediator. Christoph also has expertise in maritime tourism, international trade law and transport law.
