Career

Mr. Yılmaz, who joined the firm in 2014, is a Partner with a focus on corporate and commercial law, construction law and energy law. He is specialized in energy and construction projects, M&A transactions, joint ventures.

Within the scope of energy and construction law, he has represented clients at all stages of project deals including drafting and negotiation of the contracts and execution processes thereof. Due to his practice on many reputable BOT projects, he has experience in construction, engineering, procurement and service agreements, supply & installation agreements, maintenance and service agreements in relation to power plant and construction projects.

In addition to his expertise in energy and construction law, he is providing legal consultancy to companies on all sorts of legal issues that arise in day- to-day operations in all areas of client companies, identifying, minimizing and reporting the legal risks in the respective areas of corporate environment, negotiating, drafting, reviewing and executing various contracts and legal documents, conducting legal research and draft reports, opinions, memos, correspondence and other documents, following up legislations and conducting all procedures before relevant authorities, conducting daily corporate work and advising foreign corporate clients as well as locals.

His recent work includes drafting and negotiation of all sort of contracts for a thermal power plant project and various renewable power plant projects.
