Mustafa is a corporate and commercial law associate based in Kuwait and has been with the firm since January 2018. Mustafa’s practice is focused on advising and assisting in the restructuring of companies, the acquisition and sale of companies and the day-to-day operation and licensing of local entities before various authorities, obtaining the relevant governmental licenses and approvals, registration and assisting with post-establishment matters. This includes companies involved in most business sectors, including but not limited to, oil, retail, pharmaceutical and health sectors. Mustafa’s practice languages are English and Arabic.

Professional Experience

Restructuring: Advised and assisted in the establishment and restructuring of several companies operating in different sectors including Sephora, Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Ladurée and Americana.
KDIPA: Played a pivotal role in facilitating the inaugural share transfer transaction in Kuwait for a company established under the Foreign Direct Investment Law 116 of 2013.
Due Diligence: Mustafa contributed to several due diligence reports, notably for the due diligence conducted for the sale of Hilal Cement Company and the listing of Jassim Transport and Stevedoring Company.
