Position

I am a Senior Associate in the firm‘s Competition & Regulatory team. I help local and international companies with competition law and state aid issues.

Career

Competition law. Drawing on my extensive knowledge and experience in competition law, which I have gained while working both in law firm and at the Competition Council, I advise on all aspects of competition law, including issues related to prohibited agreements, abuse of dominant position, actions of public administration entities, concentrations and state aid.

Experience in the retail, technology, education and telecommunications sectors. My specialisation allows me to gain a close insight into various business areas, processes, and daily lives of companies and apply this knowledge to provide legal advice. I have a particular interest in and extensive experience in the retail, technology, education and telecommunications sectors.

Significant projects. I have worked on high-profile competition law cases in Lithuania, such as the PST and Irdaiva cartel cases, the Latvijas Tilti investigation case and others. I was also involved in projects related to significant transactions, such as the planned merger between Palink and Rimi, the merger between Linas Agro and Kauno grūdai, the merger between Snowball and Šviesa, the transaction between Dobeles Dzirnavnieks and Baltic Mill, the merger between Kauno liftai and Baltijos liftai, etc., as well as in opposition to the planned transactions.
