Career
As an associate with the firm’s Dispute Resolution & Risk Management practice, Steven Andrekson assists senior colleagues with finding the best solutions for clients’ problems. His work discipline is maintained by the courage to be an open communicator as well as his result-orientated approach.
Criminal law enthusiast. His passion lies within criminal law, and he hopes to represent clients in criminal proceedings one day. His field of research also betrays his special interest in criminal law. In his master’s thesis, he is studying the possibility of including more elements of restorative law in criminal proceedings, while also making the institute of conciliation more flexible, thus ensuring stronger protection of the interests of both victims and perpetrators.
Wide know-how base. Before joining Sorainen, he worked at other dispute resolution-oriented law firms, and thus, has ample experience in the field of civil law. He has also been able to support client teams in numerous landmark criminal proceedings in reaching a favorable outcome for the client.
