Dr Marilen Hilbert advises family businesses and their shareholders/partners as well as domestic and foreign groups of companies on all matters pertaining to corporate law. She further specialises in mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and reorganisations, the structuring of property and business successions and in providing assistance with shareholder disputes, in and out of court. In addition, her services include advising on employment law issues.
Moreover, she also provides personal advice to managing directors, management and supervisory board members.
Career
Dr Marilen Hilbert studied law at the Universities of Erlangen and Konstanz (Germany) and Warwick (England). She then worked as a research assistant at the University of Konstanz, where she also did her doctorate. In 2015, she was admitted to the German Bar. Marilen Hilbert is a visiting lecturer on private business law at HFT, a university of applied technical sciences, in Stuttgart (Germany). Before joining Luther, she worked in various corporate law firms.
