Position

Starting from 2021, she heads office of Azizov & Partners in Nur-Sultan (former Astana). Ms. Omarova has been working as an associate for Azizov & Partners since 2020. She has experiece of advising clients in scientific, legislative and practical fields. Her overall practical expirience in these spheres is near 14 years.

Career

In 2006, she was hired as an in-house lawyer for the Global Farm Joint Venture LLP (Kazakhstan), where she was responsible for legal support of company’s activity, including representation in litigation, legal expertise of internal documents, management of contracts for the construction of a pharmaceutical plant in accordance with GMP standards (good manufacturing practice), delivery under the terms of INCOTERMS.

In 2007, she headed the legal department of the Elitstroy Realt LLP (Kazakhstan). Botagoz has a strong experience in the field of construction, including real estate transactions, contracts with foreign counterparties, ensuring investment activities.

Botagoz is an expert in lawmaking. She is a co-author of the scientific and practical commentary on the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan and was a member of the working group on the draft Administrative Procedural and Process-Related Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
