Counsel, specialised in construction law. Michael focuses on project-related legal advice on construction projects (tunnel and cavern construction, road transport infrastructure, power plant construction, property construction, residential buildings etc) and also represents construction companies in alternative dispute resolution procedures and before courts. He also advises on legal questions regarding Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Since March 2015, Michael has been the general secretary of the Austrian Society for Construction Law and Construction Business Management (ÖGEBAU). He is also an active  member of a research group of the Austrian Association for Engineers and Architects (ÖIAV) and the Austrian Association for Geomechanics (ÖGG).

Education

In addition to his Austrian doctoral degree in law Michael holds a degree in economics. During his studies, he spent an academic exchange year at the University of Nottingham (United Kingdom).
