Position

Phillip heads the real estate department. He specialises in advising individual and corporate clients on the investment, acquisition and development of real estate, with a particular focus on advising overseas clients investing in the London market. In addition, he has considerable experience in regeneration schemes for which he advises a number of government agencies and local authorities. Phillip also acts for hotel, hospitality and leisure clients in relation to acquisitions, disposals and ongoing management arrangements.

Elizabeth Ruff¬†assisted Castlechain with the sale of a London restaurant as part of a asset realisation project. Letting highlights have included Ruff assisting Glendower Capital with the lease of its new London premises, and Simon Smith¬†advising FM Insurance Company on a high-value 10-year lease agreement. Rebecca Evans¬†was promoted to senior associate, but James Young left for an in-house position.
