Career

Tosca specializes in European Union Law and Policy focusing on the broader regulatory framework applicable to economic activities in EU and Dutch markets. Tosca has broad experience in handling cross-jurisdictional matters for clients in the wider EMEA region. She has a good understanding of EU Internal Market legislation, EU Competition law, Consumer protection laws and Unfair Commercial Practices legislation.

Tosca has an interest in novel regulatory topics and transformative law deriving from EU policy on the digital economy, the circular economy, and sustainability.

Tosca often advises clients on topics related to the e-commerce, geo-blocking, marketing claims and promotions, green claims and greenwashing, omnichannel strategies, dual distribution, platform and digital services regulation and online (sales) restrictions. Tosca is also regularly involved in matters relating to product compliance and liability for defective products, labelling, waste management, recycling, and customs and export regulations.

Tosca is a member of the Competition Law Association (VvM) and the Dutch Bar Association (NOvA).

Education

Tosca graduated in International and European Law and followed a specialization track in European Competition Law.
