Position

Slaven Kovacevic is a Counsel in Fieldfisher´s Dusseldorf office and advises on Private Equity/M&A, Venture Capital, Joint Venture formation and general Corporate Law on an ongoing basis.

A particular focus of his more than 10 years of practice is advising (international) financial investors and strategists on private equity and venture capital mandates in connection with acquisitions, exits, minority interests and other investments. He also advises private individuals in connection with the sale of family businesses to investors or strategists.

Very often, the clients he advises are cross-border transactions. In the past, he has advised on transactions in the Technology (including e-commerce), Retail, Banking & Finance and Life Sciences & Healthcare sectors. He also regularly advises on transactions in traditional industries.

Among others, he was described as a “private equity expert” by JUVE and as a “private equity specialist” by Börsen-Zeitung in 11/2022.

Career

Prior to joining Fieldfisher, he worked for other leading international law firms from the US, UK and Germany.

He is a member of the VGR – Gesellschaftsrechtliche Vereinigung – Wissenschaftliche Vereinigung für Unternehmens- und Gesellschaftsrecht e.V. (Association for Corporate Law).
