Position

Christian Schultz, LL.M. (King’s College London) is a Senior Associate in the Fieldfisher’s Hamburg and Munich offices and advises on Tech Litigation and Software Copyright Law.

He advises our clients primarily in disputes and court proceedings in which technology and software play a special role. This area of tech litigation includes both proceedings concerning the infringement of intellectual property rights in our clients’ products as well as commercial disputes in which a special understanding of the IT sector is required.

Career

Before joining Fieldfisher, he worked for a large international commercial law firm.

He advises our clients in German and English.

Education

In advising on technology issues, he has an LL.M. specialising in Intellectual Property/Information Technology from King’s College London.

He completed his German education at the University of Bonn and Münster and for one year at the University of Oxford (Diploma in Legal Studies). For his legal traineeship, he came to the North to the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg.

He was admitted to the Hamburg Bar in March 2020.
