Position
Carolin Wagner is an Associate in Fieldfisher’s Hamburg office and advises on Data Protection and IT Law.
A particular focus is on advising on large outsourcing and compliance projects as well as on international data transfer issues.
In addition, she has experience in the field of Ad Tech and supports clients in the implementation of clinical trials.

Education
She studied law at the University of Hamburg and the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in Spain. During her studies, she already focused on the area of Information, Media and Data Protection Law by taking the specialisation “Information and Communication” and working for the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, among others.
After her legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Celle – with stations at the Authority for Culture and Media in Hamburg and a commercial law firm in the area of Media and IP – she learned the basics in JavaScript and React in a “programming bootcamp”. During the bootcamp, she developed her first own Legal Tech app and was able to deepen her technical knowledge and understanding.
