Position

Martin Lose is a Counsel in Fieldfisher´s Hamburg office and specialises in advising digital business models, in particular in the areas of Media and IT Law, Competition Law, Telecommunications Law and Data Protection Law.

A particular focus of his advice is the legally secure design, regulatory protection and defence of business models in highly regulated industries, especially in the area of legal tech. In recent years, he has helped some of the market leaders in the (further) development of their business models.

Another focus of his work is litigation in cases with a strong technology connection.

Career

Before becoming a lawyer, he did research on internet and media regulation at the Hans Bredow Institute for Media Research in Hamburg and at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society in Berlin.

He advises our clients in German and English.

Memberships

He is a founding member and was a board member of Legal Tech Verband Deutschland e.V.

He is also involved in legal education, most recently through lectures at Bucerius Law School as part of the Bucerius/UC Hastings Summer Program “Licensing Transactions in Intellectual Property” and a seminar on AI and Data Protection Law of the Law and AI Research Group.
