Markus Bettecken focuses primarily on labour law and dispute resolution. In the area of labour law, he advises and represents clients on individual and collective labour law matters. In dispute resolution his activity is particularly devoted to national and international arbitration and to disputes before state courts, especially those concerned with questions of the liability of directors and officers and consultants.

Education

Markus Bettecken studied law at the University of Freiburg, with an emphasis on labour law. After completing his studies, he worked as research assistant at the Research Center for Labour Law of the Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg. He completed his legal training in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Stuttgart. Markus Bettecken currently also lectures on labour law at Stuttgart Technology University of Applied Sciences.
