Delphine Chen leads the shipping practice at Formosa Transnational, and in 2010 advised on vessel seizures, oil pollution matters and collision claims. Chen also advised a UK-based company on charterparty disputes and liens on cargo.

At JTJB Taipei, Daryl Lai and his team are ‘excellent in all aspects’. It regularly deals with high-value marine casualties and ship claims, and recently advised on the listing of a ship, involving oil pollution, marine insurance and dry cargo claims.

Tsar & Tsai Law Firm advises international ocean carriers, freight forwarders and shipping agencies. It recently acted for a Cayman-incorporated shipping group on its listing on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
