At CMS, managing partner Marc Veuillot and labour law specialist Ibrahim Douhmad advise the French Embassy in Morocco on all aspects of employment law. They also handled contractual, immigration and work permit matters for Bouygues Immobilier Maroc and Alcatel-Lucent Maroc.

Litigator Mehdi Kettani leads the employment practice at DLA Piper and has 15 years’ experience in defending companies against unfair dismissal claims. He also handles M&A-related due diligence and employee transfers. He advised NTT Data on the transfer of employees during its acquisition of Dell’s local IT services business.

Salima Bakouchi at Bakouchi & Habachi - HB Law Firm LLP is recommended for employment disputes. Her clients include Samsung Morocco and Total Maroc.

The team at CWA Morocco has close ties to international law firm Eversheds Sutherland (France) LLP. Local managing partner Xavier de Jerphanion specialises in social law, especially collective bargaining matters.

The main focus of Fraikech Associés is contentious employment matters, though the firm also handles advisory work for key clients. Abderrahmane Fraikech and Oussama Fraikech advised a leading European clothing brand on labour law matters.

Garrigues Maroc Sarl enters the table due to its burgeoning focus on labour law matters. José Ignacio García Muniozguren’s team, which includes associate Jaafar Laidi, is ‘very active in collective dismissals and matters relating to strikes’.

Gide Cuatrecasas Casablanca advises on all aspects of employment law and social protection. Jean-François Levraud’s team handles contracts for foreign workers and the drafting of employment contracts, as well as collective bargaining, redundancies and restructurings.
