Hassans’ TMT practice had a busy year, handling matters including the cross-border merger between PartyGaming and bwin Entertainment. The firm has an impressive client following in the gaming industry, where clients also include Bet365, Tombola and Gamesys. In telecoms, it advises longstanding client Gibtelecom on day-to-day matters. Gaming expert and practice head Peter Montegriffo has ‘extensive industry knowledge and familiarity with Gibraltar’s government and regulatory bodies, and their processes’. Vikram Nagrani is also recommended.
Isolas provides betting and gaming registration services. Peter Isola is well respected in the industry and advises clients on licensing and general day-to-day matters such as tax and employment. Steven Caetano is also recommended. On the IP side, the firm handles trade mark registrations and domain name matters.
Triay & Triay advises gaming clients such as Victor Chandler and Stan James, including a track record acting on joint ventures within the industry.
