Sarah is a partner in our litigation and dispute management group, experienced in advising owner/operators, developers, funds, contractors and construction professionals on both transactional and contentious construction and engineering related matters. Sarah has particular proficiency in the resolution and avoidance of large-scale infrastructure claims and general construction and engineering disputes.
Sarah’s recent experience includes a broad mix of work in various sectors, including rail, manufacturing, education, retail, energy, water and data centers. Sarah is regularly instructed by high profile clients to provide strategic legal and commercial dispute avoidance advice during large projects, and/or act on subsequent claims relating to defects, final accounts, and claims for additional time and money. Sarah is familiar with all standard form contracts as well as those bespoke contracts used in the above sectors, including various alliancing contracts. She also has experience in all forms of dispute resolution, including litigation in the TCC, domestic and international arbitration, adjudication and ADR.
Sarah is a member of the Society of Construction Law, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and TeCSA and the Legal 500 has previously described Sarah as a ‘go-to practitioner’ who is ’extremely impressive’ and is ‘unflappable, calm and sensible when things get tough’.
