Tu Anh Tran is an associate with T&G Law Firm LLC (TGVN), a licensed law firm and IP agent that partners with Tilleke & Gibbins for local IP filings and litigation in Vietnam. Recognized as a “Rising Star” in the field of arbitration by The Legal 500, Tu is a meticulous and ambitious legal practitioner who has successfully assisted clients in commercial disputes, recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards, aircraft repossession, and other complex matters.
Before joining TGVN, Tu was a legal collaborator at the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC). Tu assisted VIAC’s Secretariat and tribunals in administering numerous arbitration cases in a wide range of fields. With his practical experience and insights gained while working at VIAC, he is capable of handling arbitration matters efficiently. He also has substantial experience in the aviation sector, and assists clients with aircraft-related interest registrations and repossession. In addition, he assists with IP enforcement matters with the authorities of Vietnam and is active in pro bono activities regarding IP and arbitration.
Tu is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) and has completed with distinction various international arbitration and mediation courses organized by ICC, CIArb, VIArb, and Arbitration Lab.
