Ponte Andrade & Casanova offers comprehensive tax advice to domestic companies and multinational corporations, including their Venezuelan subsidiaries, regarding local and international tax issues, and both administrative and judicial tax litigation. In addition, through the launch of its Madrid office, the firm has expanded its ability to assist Venezuelan clients with tax issues relating to their investments in Spain. The practice is jointly led by Ramón Andrade Monagas (who heads up the firm’s Spanish branch) and Ignacio Ponte Brandt, the latter of whom frequently represents clients in disputes with the tax authorities. Associate Ignacio Andrade Cifuentes plays a key role in supporting the team across a range of tax issues. The team was further strengthened by the addition of associate Eleana Salazar Méndez, who joined from InterJuris Abogados in March 2025, with notable experience in tax consultancy and compliance strategies.
