Tammy has more than 25 years of experience representing her clients in complex litigation. She has successfully defended more than 150 nationwide and statewide class actions and MDLs, including companies sued under California’s onerous CLRA and UCL consumer protection laws, as well as other states’ consumer protection laws. Tammy's class action experience extends to defending clients in product liability suits, contract, tort, medical monitoring, property-based and privacy and cybersecurity related class actions. Tammy’s counseling practice focuses on advising clients on mitigating potential claims, advertising compliance and substantiation of marketing and advertising claims and other issues. She also advises her clients on a number of regulatory schemes in the United States and in foreign countries.

As a Certified Information Privacy Professional in the United States, Tammy handles data breach class actions and class actions arising from technologies used to collect, story, use or share personal information. She is currently the lead attorney for more than twenty nationwide and statewide data privacy-related class actions. Tammy counsels clients on privacy and data security litigation, including data breach litigation, website privacy litigation and privacy and cybersecurity litigation.
